At the University of Waterloo, I worked as an Instructional Designer, where I focused on creating engaging online learning courses utilizing various multimedia tools across multiple LMS platforms such as D2L, Blackboard, and Canvas. I prioritized accessibility and inclusivity by integrating AODA standards into the learning materials. In addition to providing technical support for CMS/LMS and maintaining the quality of online curricula, I collaborated with authors, online learning consultants, and quality assurance teams to implement effective instructional design strategies.
Technologies:
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Primer Pro, H5P Studio, D2L, Blackboard, Canvas
Note: Below is a visual identity guide for one of the many online learning courses I have developed and designed. My experience spans a wide range of subjects, including healthcare, film studies, and Indigenous studies. If you’d like to see examples of other course designs, feel free to contact me.

A key part of this project was conducting one-on-one interviews with the course author and industry experts to enhance the instructional design of our online learning courses. To support remote work during COVID-19, I created a guide on suitable multimedia tools and filming tips for high-quality home recordings. These resources were added as supplementary course media.
