As part of a digital learning transformation initiative at Seequent, I was hired to assist in the end-to-end eLearning content migration and redevelopment from the LCMS platform Domiknow to Rise360. This project aimed at modernizing the user learning experience while preserving pedagogical integrity. I ensured that the content was not only transferred but also reimagined through the lens of evidence-based instructional design, focusing on effective Rise360 development.
Technologies:
eLearning Development: Rise360, Articulate Storyline
Audio Development: Vidyard (AI Audio)
LMS Platforms: Docebo, dominKnow
Note: The following outlines the key steps and skills involved in the eLearning content migration process.

Content Extraction and Storyboard Implementation:
In the initial phase of the eLearning content migration, I extracted all media and textual content from the legacy Domiknow platform and restructured it using a standardized Storyboard Template. This process required careful consideration of AODA and WCAG accessibility standards to ensure inclusive design. Additionally, I accounted for the technical and design limitations of Rise360, allowing for seamless downstream integration.
Interactive Simulation Development:
I adapted Seequent’s existing interactive training simulations into a custom Articulate Storyline template. When content deviated from the original layout or learning flow, I modified the template accordingly to maintain instructional design integrity. A key part of my role was to identify and implement workflow efficiencies, streamlining simulation development for future iterations.
AI Audio Implementation:
To ensure consistency in narration across all training modules, we adopted Vidyard’s AI voice technology. This tool allowed us to input scripts and generate natural-sounding audio that closely mirrored human speech patterns—enhancing the learning experience while significantly reducing production time. This initiative was one of several proposed to increase the overall efficiency of the migration process.
Rise 360 Content Build:
After simulations were finalized and content was storyboarded, I transitioned into full development within Rise360. Beyond course assembly, I proactively developed reusable content blocks and templates to support a more scalable and efficient build process for future instructional designers on the team.
Docebo Content Build:
During my contract, the integration into Seequent’s new LMS, Docebo, was still under discussion. As a result, I temporarily re-uploaded the completed xAPI packages back into Domiknow for interim use. Final migration to Docebo was expected to follow once internal decisions were finalized.
