Working within a multidisciplinary team, I supported the development of the course "High Quality Online Courses" in alignment with eCampusOntario’s standards for effective digital learning. My primary focus was on transforming content into engaging, interactive experiences that reflect best practices in adult learning and online course development.
I designed and developed interactive components such as scenario-based activities, knowledge checks, and visually structured content that guided learners through complex concepts. Additionally, I contributed to the overall learning experience by applying instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE), ensuring accessibility considerations, and aligning interactions with clear learning outcomes.
This project required striking a balance between pedagogical integrity and creative design, ensuring that interactions were not only engaging but also purposeful and aligned with real-world applications.
Technologies:
Pressbooks, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator

The course was designed for busy educators, focusing on adult learning principles. Content is modular to support online course development, allowing learners to move non-linearly based on their needs, which facilitates both exploration and targeted learning through eCampus Ontario.

Instead of passive content, the experience focuses on active engagement through adult learning principles: scenario-based thinking, reflection prompts, and real-world application, all essential in the context of eCampus Ontario and online course development.

A key design decision in the online course development was to make the course itself a living example of effective online learning, particularly for adult learning. Throughout the experience, learners can see how and why design choices were made—bridging theory and practice in the context of eCampus Ontario.

Accessibility and inclusive design principles were embedded throughout the eCampus Ontario online course development, focusing on adult learning: clear structure and chunked content, multiple ways to engage with material, and consideration for diverse teaching and learning contexts.
